About
Founded in 2011 and based in New Delhi, TYCIA Foundation runs Project Unlearn, a 45-hour gender education curriculum delivered inside Indian prisons and in high-crime neighbourhoods. The curriculum creates safe spaces for young boys and men to examine and change the attitudes that drive violence against women and children. What makes it different: it's co-facilitated by ex-incarcerated young men who've completed the program themselves, turning survivors of the system into role models within their communities.
